Reggie Troubleshooting

Like any program, Reggie isn't perfect, and is prone to errors. Therefore, this error may pop up while loading (in the source version, a more specific error will be printed in the console window instead):

Generally, this can be fixed by resetting all of Reggie's settings. However, the reset procedure differs from OS to OS.

Windows[edit | edit source]

First, open the Registry Editor. You can do this by pressing WIN+R and then typing regedit. After that, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Reggie. Right-click on Milestone 3 Alpha 2 and press Delete to reset Reggie. Alternatively, it is possible to edit the individual settings if the exact cause of the error is known.

Linux[edit | edit source]

In Linux, Reggie's settings are stored in /home/USERNAME/.config/Reggie/Milestone 3 Alpha 2.conf (where USERNAME is your username). Delete this file to reset Reggie, or edit it if the exact cause of the error is known.

OS X[edit | edit source]

OS X stores the settings in /User/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/com.reggie.Reggie Level Editor.plist (where USERNAME is your username). Delete this file to reset Reggie, or use a .plist editor such as this to edit the individual settings.
